Hair follicles go through several natural stages, starting with growth and ending with hair shedding. These stages include:

1- Growth Phase (Anagen Phase)

This phase lasts between 2 to 4 years, depending on the individual.
Hair grows approximately 1 to 1.5 cm per month during this stage.

2- Resting Phase (Catagen / Telogen Phase)

During this phase, hair enters a resting or “sleep” stage.
The hair length remains unchanged for about 3 to 5 months.

3- Shedding Phase (Exogen Phase)

At the end of the resting phase, hair reaches the end of its natural life cycle and begins to shed.

Normal daily hair loss ranges from 50 to 100 hairs, and the same number grows naturally in healthy individuals.

Sudden hair loss can occur due to several medical and lifestyle-related factors, including:

1- General physical or hormonal disturbances in the body

2- Thyroid gland disorders

3- Blood disorders such as anemia and autoimmune diseases

4- Certain serious illnesses such as tumors or cancer

5- High body temperature (fever), which negatively affects hair follicles

6- Frequent changes in diet or extreme dieting

7- Excessive intake of Vitamin A

8- General anesthesia (hair loss may appear 3 months after surgery)

1-Hair loss in children may occur due to:

2-Poor nutrition, leading to deficiencies in vitamins and minerals such as biotin and zinc

3-Psychological stress caused by family or emotional crises

4-Alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition affecting about 25% of pediatric cases

5-Trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling)

6-Tinea capitis (scalp ringworm), a common fungal infection in children

Hair regrowth treatment is performed by:

Extracting a small fat sample from the patient’s body

Processing and purifying the sample using sterile separation devices

Re-injecting the prepared solution into the affected scalp areas under local anesthesia

🕒 Expected Results:

Initial improvement may be noticed within the first week

Visible hair growth appears after 1 to 2 months

Full hair growth results are achieved after approximately 6 months

To maintain healthy hair and prevent excessive shedding, follow these recommendations:

1- Avoid tight hairstyles such as braids, ponytails, and buns that place tension on hair roots
2- Minimize the use of high-heat styling tools
3- Avoid frequent hair dyeing to prevent follicle damage
4- Choose a shampoo suitable for your hair type
5- Use a soft, wide-tooth brush
6- Avoid hot showers and do not style hair while wet
7- Maintain a balanced diet rich in iron and essential vitamins
